Your custom design experience begins with a design and inspiration consultation and figure assessment. We will discuss the style, silhouette and overall look you desire. After fabric and finishing details are sourced and the design is finalized, we will take your measurements so that a custom-fitted pattern can be created. Your first fitting will be in a mock-up fabric (called a muslin). After this initial fitting, the quantity and timing of subsequent fittings will be determined. Please bring the undergarments and shoes that you will be wearing with your garment to every fitting.
We have worked in materials as diverse as leather, fur, paper and cellophane. Our clientele is equally as diverse ranging from children to seniors and plus-sizes to those with special needs.
As well, we have worked with some high-profile clients including the Canadian Women's Olympic Curling Team along with Bruce Allen Talent and Sandman Hotels / Moxie's Grill. We designed and produced the 2002 Bronze Medalists' post-Olympic on-ice uniforms.
